Friday Favorites #20

1. World Map Pillow ($38):  I love this cute pillow to recount travels or just to pinpoint places you love.

2. Lolli Living Owl Lamp ($48):  Such a cute addition to a baby's nursery!  The white color of the lamp would really make it fit in anywhere!

3. Ferris Wheel Print (FREE): What an adorable printable and it is FREE!!  When I move this will be the first piece in my new place, love the colors and on the site, there are two complimentary pictures there that are also FREE!

4. Textured Woven Ryker Sofa ($880):  Love this couch from world market and the color would really pop!  Not sure the price is right, but its worth looking into if you are in the market for a new comfy couch!

Friday Favorites #19

1. Women's Rashguard ($18): Loving these for the summer sun! And you can actually play your cards right and get them for even cheaper than that!
2. Grey Upholstered Daybed ($495): So this is a little on the pricey side, but it is so cute, I just had to share it!
3. Minnie Mouse Dress ($48): I actually ordered this and loved it but it was a little short for me and not super practical, but it is an adorable find for the epic Disney lover!  And if you aren't into the dress, just shop around there is a whole line so you might find something else super cute!
4. Piece of Pizza Pool Float ($55): So not logical for me but the idea is epic, it even has a loop so you can hook to other friends pizza floats, and if you get 6-8 slices, I am sure you would have a whole pie!
5. Fourth of July Printables (FREE): In the spirit of the Holiday, check out these cute printables to add a little festivity to your holiday!

1. Richmond, VA print ($30): I think this print is so cute and finds a great home among so many other great Richmond prints on Etsy.
2. Round Spindle Table ($67): This cutie is from Wal-Mart if you would believe it!  It comes in a variety of colors so it could fit any decor, but I think the yellow was super fun for a nice pop of color
3. Ball Mason Jar Printable (free):  There is not much I love more than vintage Mason jars and free, so this one is a winner all around!
4. Cork Globe ($129): I was heavily crushing on this cork globe but honestly cannot imagine spending $129 on it, but if you have that kind of money it  is a super cute find!
5. Eyelet Sundress in Guava ($30): I got this dress back when it was on sale for $20 and I absolutely love it!  I often pair it with  navy sweater and it is the perfect color combination!  An excellent addition to your summer wardrobe!

Friday Favorites #17

A random round up of things I am loving lately and some good Spring clothing staples...

1. Flavia Flamingo ($24):  Okay so I absolutely could not justify buying this for myself, but I feel like this is the most adorable stuffed animal for little kids--seriously how often do you find stuffed flamingos??
2. Vintage Hair Bows ($10): I picked up the minty one myself at the Spring Badda Bing a few weeks back and love it!  They are vintagey/feminine fabrics but also seem incredible durable!  So cute!
3. Ramble Tunic ($35): I have not yet bought this but have been contemplating it for a few weeks, it is just so cute and looks sooooo comfortable, plus it would pair so well with a pair of black pixie pants....
4. Pixie Pants (starting at $17): So I have a pair in Navy and love love love them.  They fit really well, and are way more comfortable than you would imagine.  Which is just the type of work pant I want!  If I ever get my hands on a pair of black ones, I might have totally transformed my normal strictly dress work attire for pants!!
5. Hello Cards (Free): Everyone loves getting mail just cause, these are the perfect little note cards for just that purpose!  Plus at a cost of nothing, how can you pass them up?

1. Abode Plate Set ($40): These plates might be a little pricey at $40 for eating on, but I think they would make adorable wall art and for that price, they may be justifiable!
2. Hello Spring Printable (free): This may be one of my favorite printables to date!  I can just picture framing this beaut up to welcome in the Spring season!
3. Latte Bowls ($30): Anthropologie, you are amazing (but oh so expensive), however at $30 for a set of 6 these bowls are actually manageable and are great for ice cream sundaes (I may just know first hand).
4. Orange Tray Table ($40): I know orange does not work for everyone but this would be such a bold pop color to work in if you can manage it!
5. Green Coat Stand ($30): I mean who out there does not love like 98% of everything Ikea sells?  So this green coat stand is no exception, I love the color green--it is very Kelly green-ish and I think would work perfectly in every home, but then again maybe I just love Kelly green?!?!

Friday Favorites #14

3. Whale Tail Measureing Cups ($32): What a great nod to the great colors of spring.  If I was not already completely obsessed with measure cups, then I might would add these to my collection.  But even an avid baker/cook like myself does not need more than like 3-4 sets, right?

4. Tom's Haiti Musical Note Shoes ($68): These are a bit pricey but they are one-of-a-kind hand painted shoes from a member of the Haiti Artist Collective, so you are still contributing to the one for one movement AND helping to employee a native of Haiti, so a win-win!

5. Vintage Map Printables (FREE): For all you map lovers out there?  What's that?  It's just me?  Well, anyway, here is a great collection of vintage maps to use as art around the house if you do share my affinity for travel and maps!

Friday Favorites #9 (Halloween Edition)

1. Halloween Wreath ($19): Of course Target would have the cutest wreath!  I mean I am not a wreath for every holiday type of gal, but if you are, this one is certainly cute!
2. Olaf Kids Costume ($25): Ummm if I could get Corbin to wear any costume, you know I would be pushing this one, but alas he wants to be a ghost!  Come to think of it, I wonder if I could give him this and pass it off as a ghost?!?!  It is soooo cute!
3. Halloween Wine Bottle Labels ($3): If you are planning to host an adult party, these labels would be right on the spot!
4. Chris March Lobster Head ($20):  If you follow me on instagram, then you already have seen this cute cute hat!  But I could not pass up the opportunity to push Chris March's line once more!  I followed him on Project Runway oh so many years ago and love this line that he does for Target every year.
5. Eat, Drink and Be Scary Printable (plus many more--all FREE)!  Thanks to Kristi for this contribution!  It is a link with like 30 free Halloween printables so there is one for every person's taste for sure!
6. Cream Craft Pumpkin ($9):  I have been digging the many different uses for these craft pumpkins, from gold dots to my most recent obsession by Lauren Conrad where she uses colorful push pins to punch into the pumpkin.  Needless to say, there is a lot of long-term decorating that you could do with this pumpkin and it will never rot!

I hope you enjoy this collection and remember only 28 days to get your costumes ready and stock up on candy!

3. Virginia Frosted Tumbler ($14): I think these tumblers are just so cute!  If I was less clumsy I would probably get a set, however I stick with plastic cups whenever possible!  But I do have the matching tea towel and apron!
4. Richmond Trivet ($17): Another cute gift for the Richmond lover and kitchen lover alike!
5. Richmond Skyline Print ($12): What a cute and inexpensive gift idea!

Friday Favorites # 7!

I am back with some more cute (non-hokie this week) things, feel free to check them out and enjoy!  Happy Friday :)

1. Shutterfly card assortment ($20): So in fairness, I got this set for free from shutterfly during a promo they were doing, but I am still super excited about them! They are so cute and a great variety pack to have around! Plus I think they would make a cute gift!!!

2.Free Lunch Box Printables (FREE):  I know, I know, school has already started but I think these would be great to incorporate into your kiddo's lunch box through the year!  What a quick and easy thing to do, plus did I mention they are free!!!

3. Red Console Table ($230):  So at $230 this piece is a big steep, but what a statement it would make!  I am not sure I could fall in love with the red all the time, but I am sure it would work for some people!

4. Bobby Pin Print ($24): As someone who relies almost daily on the help of bobby pins, this print just seems so fitting and would find a perfect home in a bathroom!

5. Baby Boy outfit ($16):  Hello Hipster, I could not resist this cute little baby hipster outfit, and for the twins--it would be double the cuteness!  If I buy it, I may have to sneak it on them so they can be twinning!

6. The Very Hungry Caterpillar Wooden Pull Toy ($15): It seems that the amazon children's toy section has recently become my friend with so many little ones birthdays recently or coming up, but I stumbled across this cutie and could not resist including it!

Friday Favorite #6 (aka Hokie Edition)

So Hokie football is getting ready to kick off tomorrow and in celebration of that, I have decided to do all Virginia Tech things on this Friday Favorites post.  I hope you are as excited as I am for some Hokie football!

1. Maroon and Orange Flats ($55): Though these are a little high priced, they are super cute for the fashionable hokie lover!  Orange and Maroon striped flats!  What will they think of next?
2. Hokie Tervis Tumbler ($23): I might have a slight obession with 24 oz Tervis Tumblers (I have 5!!) but they are perfect for me to get in my daily recommended water intake at work and double bonus--right now you can save $5 off the 24 oz collegiate ones, which means it is only $18!!
3. VT subway art ($15+): So I have to confession, I just came upon this during my searching but I think it is the perfect addition to any Hokie household!!!
4. Virginia Tech Silver Earrings ($28): These are a bit understanded than the normal orange and maroon, but still show some great hokie love!  They are a perfect gift for the new freshman or for the hokie mom in your life!
5. Hokie Infinity Scarf ($28):  This is perfect for those cooler games later in the season!  Who doesn't love an infinity scarf and with Hokie spirit to boot!  What a great way to support the local team and an Etsy creator!
6. Maroon Effect Shirt ($14):  All the Hokie fans will be sporting this shirt for the October 23rd game so make sure to get your annual maroon effect shirt (they have orange effect too, but I always like the maroon ones better!)
7. Orange and Maroon Rosette Headband ($6): This is oh so cute and so me!  I do not yet have it but am seriously contemplating getting one!

Friday Favorites #5

Happy Friday Favorite after my birthday!  That's right yesterday I turned the big 3-1!  Craziness, I tell you! Anyway, enjoy this rendition:

1. H&M glass vase ($10): So this one blew my mind this week as I just found out that H&M now has a home store!  Did other people know this and I am out of the loop?  Love a lot of the selections there and love the prices!
2. Peacock Pillow ($30): World Market has like 90% of everything that I think is so beautiful whilst decorating.  This peacock pillow is no exception.  It is beautifully embroidered and has a bright teal back, check it out--it is super cute!
3. Teal Patio Set ($229): So despite the fact that Target is strewn with Back to school things, I refuse to believe that summer is coming to an end, instead, I am still excited about cute patio furniture for the many more cookouts that are still left to be had (no snow, please!)
4. Handmade printables (free): I love these printables and will likely use some for Christmas gifts, so pretend like you did not see them :)  Plus, you can NEVER beat FREE!
5. Stack Ice Cream Scoop ($16): So I really do not get ice cream much at home (I generally hit up Gelati Celesti if I am in the mood for ice cream), but this is so cute and so perfect for ice cream sandwiches, banana splits, or just filling a cone with a perfect scoop!  Plus they have it in PINK!

Friday Favorites #4

So I know it has been quiet this week on the blog, that is because my nephews and sister were in town and the name of the game was SURVIVAL MODE!  So I will be back next week with a few more posts and a number of shots of those cuties in action!

1. Toms Natural Destination Shoes ($54):  So I am super crushing on these, but unfortunately they are sold out in a number of sizes, but I got my eyes on them when they get back in stock!  I feel like they would be perfect for trips :)
2. Portable Turntable ($83): It's time to bring back the good old days with this record player!  Who doesn't love the sound of vinyl (and hey, records sell for like 25 cents at the local Goodwill, so music will be a steal)
3. Love the Journey Printable (FREE):  I love free printables and this one is capital C--CUTE!  If you don't like that particular design, no worries, they have a number of other options!
4. Okay, okay so I cannot find the link for these green pants, but how cute are they?  My friend Erica (I think) pinned them on pinterest and I just like they are so versatile so I am loving them and am now on a quest for green pants!
5. Virginia is for Lovers Pillow ($26.50): So I got this a few weeks ago from Etsy and love it as much in person as online!  A few disclosures: first, it says ready to ship in 1-2 weeks, DO NOT believe that!  It took forever to get here and I even emailed but no response!  But finally I got an email that it had shipped and then the pillow was so cute!  But if you need it for a gift, allow AMPLE time!  And secondly, the red heart can be sewn on wherever you like, I, of course chose Richmond, but make sure to note where you want it placed!

Enjoy and have a great weekend!

Friday Favorites #3

Back again for another rendition of Friday Favorites!  It seems that I was going with a pink theme this week, which fits since it is my favorite color!

1. Unbroken Book ($15.50, or free if you can snag it from your library!): Seriously, this is one of the best books I have ever read and lucky for us, the movie comes out later this year, so get your read on BEFORE you see the flix (you know the book is going to be better anyway!)  One thing to note: it starts a little slow, but hang tight it gets real good before it's all over.
2. The Big Bang Theory Clue Game ($39): This one is for all you BBT fans out there, I just see the conclusion now: Sheldon in the laboratory with the train set, or some other crazy shenanigan!
3. Fitbit Zip ($59.95): So this is a long time coming, I have had my fitbit zip for months now, so long in fact that I just had to change the battery the other day!  I am not going to say it has totally made me step obsessed, but I am definitely striving for more steps than before!  I get motivated to do things so I can get more steps in before bed, so it is working for me!
4. Initial Free Printable (FREE): Alright alright, so this is actually supposed to be framed art for a nursery, but I really think it could be for a cute gallery wall too!  And it's free, so you really aren't out anything if you never use it!
5. Banded Headbands ($10-$13):  Well last week, I touched on Amazima, an organization I love and support!  Well now they are teaming up with Banded!  For each headband purchased, Banded contributes 3 meals to people in the Amazima community!  Who knew head gear could go so far!  I am particularly crushing on the wide navy birds one!
6. United States Cookie Cutter ($4): And if my love for all things maps and travel is not already apparent, let's add a cookie cutter to the mix!  At only $4, its a cute way to introduce kids to geography!  Or even adults, if they need a refresher course that is :)

I am always interested to hear what products you all are loving, so let me know if you have any good ones!

Friday Favorites #2

Back again with another edition of Friday Favorites!  Let's check out what I am crushing on these days:

1. Cooking Measurement Conversion Chart (free printable): I have not yet used this in my kitchen but think it would be a great addition to the inside of a cupboard!
2. Virginia cutting board ($20): or $15 with the use of a $5 off coupon from Bed, Bath and Beyond!  I got one and I love the Virginia pride and it is a good solid wood cutting board (make sure to treat it and never use it for raw meat)
3. Threshold Corkboard Wall Decor ($10): I love this as a great addition to any kitchen or entry way as a little keep all for small things!  Well made and very rustic looking!
4. Marquette Bed ($200): Though $200 is not cheap by any means, it is a reasonable price for a solid bed frame and the reviews on this are outstanding!  Who knows, maybe one day soon this will be in my house!
5.Hide and Hug Olaf ($15): I thought I would jump on the Frozen bandwagon with this cutie!  It  might be a little early for Christmas shopping but if not, this would be a perfect add on to the Frozen lover in your house!
6. "Laughter" Multi-colored bracelet ($17): This is by far my favorite thing yet!  I own one and although I rarely ever wear jewelry, it makes the rounds at least once a month!  These bracelets (and necklaces) are made by women from Uganda.  Amazima is an organization started by Katie Davis in Uganda to help empower women to overcome life's hardships and work to support their family.  The women in this program are paid fair wages and given financial training and are encouraged (and even checked up on) to make sure they are saving money.  All pieces are handcrafted and solid pieces of art and at a price tag of less than 4 Starbucks coffees!  What else can you buy for under $20 that does so much?  If you aren't interested in jewelry, check out the website for more information about the organization!

What items are you loving these days?  What are some organizations you love to support?  Let me know!

Friday Favorites!

Look who is getting fancy?  So I have seen a number of other blogs highlight the things they are crushing on and I wanted to get on the bandwagon with fun finds around the internets!  You know I love a good deal and also I love cool companies that support awesome things, plus I always love Target, so I will try to be creative about my picks--keeping in mind some will be freebies, some may be for good causes and some are just fun!  Full disclosure, I do not own each thing (we all know I am into clutter free living), but that does not mean I do not love on some pretty things!  So hopefully you will find something you love too!  I am going to try to do this twice monthly to start, so let's see how it goes!  Let me know what you think!

2. Threshold Accent Cabinet ($150)--I actual do own this in green and LOVE it!
4. Ivy Lane Fabric Earrings ($5) , so this lady works out of her home in Utah and often has instagram giveaways or supports various causes, just last week she was giving 100% of all money made for the week to go toward the lone survivor of Stay murders, Cassidy.
5. Room Essentials Bird Pillow ($17), I do not have this, but just think the little birdies are cute and would be adorable for a nursery or dorm room!
6. Three Wishes Personalized Print (starting at $24), Minted.com has many personalized prints and this cutie is par for the course!  I have not yet gotten prints from them, but have ordered cards and labels in the past and am super impressed with their quality and customer service, so I expect no less than awesomeness!  They are a bit on the pricey side of things though!
