The State Fair of Virginia has come and gone but that does not mean that the memories are forever lost! CJ and I once again ventured out to the Meadow Events park much like last year, but with just one small difference. Last year we were waiting for little Bethany to make her entrance into the world and this year she was there at the state fair with us!
Of course there are a few things that remained the same, the obligatory horse tail picture:
And the Big sign welcoming us in:
We got to see the State record holding pumpking and watermelon (the biggest to date!):
We still did not get to see a cow being birthed, but we did see one of the little guys who had recently been born:
Of course, I got a fun cotton candy shot again:
And got to see the cute little bunny rabbits:
Then we meet up with Kristi, Mike, Bethany, and Kristi's parents for some pig racing action:
I think she enjoyed it! |
Before we headed out, we hit up the livestock pavilion and found these super fun hay bales:
Just in case you were unsure--this dairy cow will produce "Future Cheese":
I hope you got to experience the State Fair when it was in town, but if not make sure to hit it up next year! It is quite the experience :) Oh and don't forget a funnel cake or fried oreos!
